Once known as Naruto 2, Naruto Shippuden will officially begin on 15th Feburary 2007. This also means that the last last filler episode will be aired in Japan on the 8th of Feburary. This infomation is from tv-tokyo itself.

Naruto, END of Fillers



To everyone's joy, Shonen Jump has annouced and confirmed that the fillers will officially end in February 2007. The series will also get a brand new name along with it.

The new title, "Naruto: Hurricane Chronicles" is choosen largely due to Naruto being a Wind Element user. This is great news to many who are eagerly looking forward to the end of the fillers. Hopefully Jump will keep to their words.

Bleach Movie Confirmed



The 1st Bleach Movie entitled 'Memories of Nobody' is slated to be release in theaters across Japan on 16th December 2006. No plot synopsis has been release so far but a short promo trailer can be found on youtube. Visit the official website here.

Naruto Movie 2 entitled: Great Clash! The Illusionary Ruins at the Depths of the Earth. Has just been subbed Dattebayo fansub. This movie is both humorous and action filled, however the downside is the really awful plot.

The movie is currently scheduled for a theatrical release on August 5th, 2006 across Japan. Specific details about the plot have not been announced. All that is known is that we will see Naruto, Kakashi, Sakura, and Lee in new summer outfits for the movie.

'The Sealed Sword Frenzy' has been translated by Lunar earlier today. It appears that they are willing to sub this Jump Festa because Viz has only licensed the TV series. Lunar also announced that it will absolutely not sub any more Bleach episodes.

Bleach OVA 2



Bleach OVA 2 entitled: 'The Sealed Sword Frenzy' has been released in RAW format earlier today. This was first shown during last December's Jump Festa Convention in Tokyo. Unlike the first Bleach OVA, 'The Sealed Sword Frenzy' is a side-story which is completely unrelated to the anime. All we can do now is wait patiently for dattebayo to sub it.

There will also be No Bleach episode this week.

Bleach is Now Offically Licensed



We all knew it was coming but it wasn't made official by Viz until eariler today.

With that, Lunar Fansubs stated that they will stop subbing Bleach. Fortunately, Dattebayo & Bleach-Society Fansubs will still continue to sub Bleach.

Naruto Movie 2: DVD release Date



The second Naruto movie will be released on DVD arcoss Japan on April 28th. This is good news as we can expect to see a subtitled release by Dattebayo soon after.

Also note that the filler episodes will continue till late April.

VIZ Media announced today that it has named Mattel license for SHONEN JUMP's wildly popular NARUTO by Masashi Kishimoto.

After much speculation, fans of the Hellsing will be delighted to hear that the long circulated rumours of a continued storyline are confirmed. Each OVA will be 50 minutes long and are based on the events of the manga.

Hellsing Ultimate OVA 1 is scheduled to air in Japan on 10 February 2006.

News on filler episodes



During an interview, the producer of Studio Pierrot answered a lot of questions pertaining to the series. When asked when the fillers would end, he replied:

The seventh season of Naruto (beginning next week) will be solely dedicated to fillers. By the beginning of season 8 (27 episodes from now), we should see the anime following the manga again.

In other words, the fillers will last for about another 20+ more episodes until season 8 begins which will be around summer 2006.
